Seedling Mud Pellets, 30 mm

These seedling mud pellets are discs of nutrient soil that expand when watered. Each disc starts at 30 mm in diameter and 10 mm thick, then swells to about 30 mm in diameter and 50 mm thick after absorbing water. The pellets take in up to 90 percent water, turning into a soft, workable plug for starting seeds.

They suit seed-starting and general gardening in trays, pots, or small containers. Set a disc in a tray, add water, and let it expand before sowing. The pack holds 100 pieces, enough for a full tray of starts.

• 100 pieces per pack
• 30 mm diameter, 10 mm thick before watering
• Expands to about 30 mm diameter, 50 mm thick
• Nutrient soil composition
• Absorbs up to 90 percent water
